Video: Several People Trapped in Collapsed Lagos High-rise Building

A 20-storey building, located on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos has collapsed.

According to reports, many people are trapped in the collapsed building.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said in a phone conversation with THISDAY that the agency had activated its rescue team.

“The agency has activated its emergency response plan to the collapsed building. All first responders are enroute to secure the scene while the heavy duty equipment and life detection equipment have been dispatched,” he said.
