Obaego: Real Estate Business has Long-term Profitability

Among other types of investments, real estate has been adjudged as one of the best options for anyone seeking to go into business. This is according to a property developer, Obaego, the founder and CEO of Teczo Real Estate.

“To tell the truth, real estate is quite competitive and capital intensive, but the demand for property is endless as humans’ need for residential apartments, office buildings and shops will continue to rise,” he explained.

The serial entrepreneur, whose businesses also include Teczo Autos and a forex trading entity, further explained: “When I set out to become an entrepreneur two years ago, I wasn’t after a business that will bring quick money, rather I wanted to go into a business area where I can look forward to long term profitability. And after thorough research, the property business stood out clearly as one of the best options.”
He added: “And looking back now, I have no misgiving over my choice.”

Obaego, real name Ejiobi Charles Chibuike, also counselled aspiring entrepreneurs who may be eyeing the property sector about the importance of integrity and patience. “One of the quick lessons from my experience as a property developer is that the easiest way to kill your business is to try to cut corners. Once your integrity is tarnished, it will be difficult for your business to flourish.”

He continued: “To sustain your integrity, be prepared to build with quality materials, buy your land with all the right documents processed and avoid delay in execution of projects. These are all important indicators that clients and customers look out for.”

On how he has been able to found three thriving businesses in two years, the 29-year-old said: “I am not afraid of competition, so I run my businesses with a combination of good customer service, a strong online presence and competitive pricing.”
