Startup unveils Delivery Metropolis, set to revolutionise logistics services

To tackle the need for reliable logistics services in Nigeria and the continent, tech innovator, Ruditech Limited, has unveiled a groundbreaking mobile logistics solution, Delivery Metropolis, to handle the complex demands associated with the transport of goods.

The product’s architect, Ndidiamaka Madubuike, spoke on the potential of Delivery Metropolis during a digital unveiling of the app on Monday. She shared her vision of the platform as an on-demand logistics solution that expedites deliveries for both enterprises and individual users, thereby becoming an integral part of their daily operations.

The app, Madubuike highlighted, simplifies the logistics process by making it hassle-free, offering local, inter-state, and even international delivery services. She sought to give the app a relatable identity that would resonate with users and be easy to recall, which led to the birth of the name ‘Delivery Metropolis’.

The application’s intended audience spans a broad spectrum, encompassing virtually anyone who could potentially require its services. From individual consumers to businesses operating in both online and offline spheres, and from offices to young adults, the possibilities are virtually limitless. The platform has been made conveniently accessible for download on both the Apple and Google Play Stores.

“Delivery Metropolis is designed to provide users with a myriad of services including Logistics/Delivery hailing service, Same-Day Delivery, and Last Mile Delivery Service, among others,” Madubuike explained.

In an increasingly competitive digital landscape, Madubuike remains optimistic about the potential acceptability and success of the app. She predicts an impressive one million downloads/subscribers and an active daily user base of at least 4,000 within the next five years. This projection is informed by the app’s unique offering in the African and European markets, and the distinctive nature of its insurance packages for both riders and end-users.

The virtual launch event drew a diverse audience, including brand strategists, ICT specialists, and software and web developers from various platforms. The team from Ruditech and Delivery Metropolis were also in attendance. Their collective presence underlines the cross-industry interest and support for this ambitious project, indicating a promising future for Delivery Metropolis as it seeks to revolutionise the logistics sector.
