Super Eagles Camp for Kumasi Battle Opens with Five Players

Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoffs with Ghana’s Black Stars opened this morning with five players. 
Amongst the early birds in camp are William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina and Frank Onyeka.
The Media Officer of the team, Babafemi Raji, confirmed to THISDAY that more players are expected to troop into the camp today following weekend matches ahead of the international break. 
Although the captain of the team, Ahmed Musa, was sighted on arrival in the country Sunday, the Fatih Karagumruk winger in the Turkish Super Lig is expected to join his international teammates ahead of the team’s trip to Kumasi to play the Black Stars in the first leg of the final qualifier on Friday, March 25.
The reverse fixture is scheduled for the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on March 29.
