Ehiorobo Promises Golfers Good Time at Captain’s Inaugural Tourney

Secretary of Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS), Hon. Osazuwa Ehiorobo has revealed that the Captain’s Inaugural Golf Tournament today will bring in a new experience to golfers.

Ehiorobo, fondly called OZ disclosed that all necessary steps to ensure a befitting tournament has been put in place, promising that this year captain’s inaugural would be a memorable event in the history of the club.

He admitted that golfers within and outside Nigeria were arriving for the tournament, noting that the calibre of golfers coming to honour the Captain, Edward Ikponmwosa Osayande will make the event a keenly contested Tournament.

“Golfers are coming from Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), Asaba; UBTH Golf Club, Benin; Ikoyi Golf Club; Ikeja Golf Club; Abeokuta Golf Club; IBB Golf and Country Club; Ogunnu Golf Resort, Warri; Port-Harcourt Golf Club; Arsenal Golf Club, Owerri and host of others.

“Benin is home of golf in Nigeria, no doubt about that. Our golf course is well nurtured and best to play good golf. The atmosphere at the club is exemplary and highly accommodating.

“That is why BCGS has always become a sought-after club by top golfers to play a competitive tournament. We are a top-rated club in Nigeria, golfers who had featured in the club tournaments attested to this.

“The tournament will feature men and ladies event, veteran men and ladies as well as super veteran. Trophies are all up for grabs for those who distinguished themselves this weekend.
