My Endorsement, a Great Challenge, Says Musa

Senator Mohammed Sani Musa has described as a great challenge his endorsement for a second term by stakeholders in the Niger East senatorial district of Niger State.
Musa was Friday endorsed for a second term as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 senatorial election.
“My endorsement is a great challenge; it  is a call for me to do more to uplift the standard of living of the  people in this constituency and the state as a whole,” he said.
Musa said if re-elected, he will give the state good representation and ensure whatever is due for the zone adding that Niger State will be pursued with more vigour.
He added that he will continue his youth and women empowerment programmes, adding that more pressure will be put on the federal government to intensify the war against insurgency in parts of the zone so that the people will live normal lives.
Earlier, one of the stakeholders and former Chief of Staff to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, Mr Mikhail Emitosahi, said the stakeholders decided to endorse Bello because of his good track records as he has served the constituency diligently.
“We don’t have any reason to change our representative, he has been doing very well; he is a good representative,” Emitosahi declared.
All the stakeholders that spoke at the forum promised to embark on door-to-door campaign to ensure Musa’s victory in the party primary and general election.
