2023: Buhari Meets APC Govs, Departs for Spain

President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting with the 22 governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kebbi State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Atiku Bagudu Abubakar, is leading the APC governors to the ‘crucial’ meeting scheduled for noon at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
The meeting is also being attended by the National Chairman of APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu. 
Sources told THISDAY that President Buhari will use the opportunity of the meeting to discuss the forthcoming presidential primary of the party and the need to have a united position with the governors.

The president is expected to leave later on Tuesday for Madrid, Spain for a two-day state visit to the European nation.
