The name Kachikwu has become synonymous with all things oil and energy in Nigeria. This is because the man at the forefront of the use of this name used to be the President of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and then became the GMD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), former Executive Vice Chairman of ExxonMobil, and Minister of State for Petroleum Resources. With such a rich career, it is only natural that Kachikwu is a man of influence in Nigeria and beyond.

Due to his influence, the news of his planning a wedding for his son, Emeka, has been received with open arms. According to reports, Emeka will be joining his hands in holy matrimony to Kelechi Esimogu, the great love of his life. Thus, the entire Kachikwu family will be available to support and celebrate the couple. Of course, considering the width and breadth of the groom’s father, it is only natural that there will be prestigious people from far and wide arriving at the wedding.
