Praying Women Outreach Empowers Women with Hygiene, Marriage Tips

The Praying Women Outreach (PWO), a not-for-profit organisation, is on the mission to embolden the minds of women across the country on the need for better personal hygiene in their various homes.

The organisation also charged participants to be creative, embrace good looks, shun nagging and suspicious acts that rip the peace of the home and above all be supportive and submissive.

These were some of the tips women were inundated with at the launch of the Praying Women Outreach which was held at the Okota area of Lagos State.

Addressing the women on “How to Get Your Husband Better”, Mr Dayo Adeniji (a Reverend) spoke comprehensively on the significance of imbibing good personal hygiene.

Citing that cleanliness is next to godliness, Adeniji said, “Your room is not organised; tidy it up. In the name of fatigue when you return home from work, you throw your clothes everywhere.”

He, however, cautioned that certain men do not tolerate untidiness. This is as he reminded women that they have a role to play, too, to retain their positions.

“A virtuous woman can get to her husband and keep him,” he highlighted. “Not everyone here is married to a believer. So I’m not here to tell you to go and pray. Do the necessary things.”

According to Adeniji, some of these men don’t want to come home “because they have wives who are good mothers but bad wives. Always quarrelsome, antagonistic and nagging,” he cautioned.

He further recommended that women should wear beautiful clothes and have neat hairdos always. “You tie a wrapper at home. Bathe and clean up.

“The solution to keeping your husband as a Christian woman includes being submissive, always looking presentable, and giving him what he demands, including your body any time any day. Be creative with different styles. That is what people give them outside,” he emphasised extensively.

For Adeniji, there are more tips to know for a better marriage other than good food and praying. “Support the football club your husband aligns with. Know what he likes. Know the friends he doesn’t want to see you with.”

In her remarks, the Convener and Founder of PWO, Ego Ojo, said this is her way of giving back to society.

As a journalist and media consultant, Ojo said the theme of the day, “Feed the Women” targets the minds and souls of the women. “This platform is not just to feed the body but also the mind and the souls with the right information for total change, spiritual strengthening their faith and upliftment.”

She said the PWO would continue to reach out to more women starting from Lagos State while also promoting their

Participants at the unveiling were treated to worship and praise service, networking, games, the word, food and drinks, motivational talks, and lots more.
