The Oyo Central Senatorial candidate of Accord party, Engineer Faozey Nurudeen, has restated his commitment to help youths in the senatorial district increase their skills through technology.
Nurudeen who gave the commitment at the graduation ceremony of 30 young learners for the class of 2022 summer robotics and coding camp organized by his organization, Oyo Tech Hub, said it was part of ways of impacting positively on his immediate community.
The program which started with the aims and objectives of the Hub delved into a brief history of Nurudeen, while the essence of training the young learners in coding and robotic skills was presented by the Hub's manager, Mr. Ibukun Atoro.
There were also two demonstration sessions during which learners of different ages were asked to present their projects to validate the skills they all acquired from the training.
The first session which lasted for about 20 minutes to the excitement of the parents presented, was for young learners under the age of 11 which was all about using robotic sensor to test soil moistures.
It was followed by another powerful demo session for age 15 learners who used robots to demonstrate the three states of matter, solid, liquid and gas properties.
The 30 young learners that graduated later received certificates of participation and branded t-shirts each from the Hub.
The excited parents who could not contain their joy seeing the skills acquired by the children, lauded Nurudeen and described him as a blessing not just to the senatorial district but to the state as a whole.
While praying that God should increase him and grant his heart desires, they assured of supporting his ambition as they are confident it will bring the quality representation which Oyo Central senatorial district has lacked in the past.
