US based Artist Jay Newton To Perform At DJ Tunez’s BLACKOUT TOUR

US based Nigerian Jay Newton, has been listed as one of the performing acts for ‘DJ TUNEZ’S BLACKOUT TOUR 2022’.

Unveiling the list of performers for the event, DJ Tunez the convener of BLACKOUT TOUR, said Jay Newton is one of the few US based Nigerian artists who has been consistent and instrumental in the spread and steady rise of Afrobeats in the US and around the world.

This year DJ Tunez features several artists as well as DeeJays to bring the thrills and excitement of Afrobeats to Florida. The show will also feature artistes like SammieFaze & Squeeze Tarella and will take place on Friday 28th Oct. 2022.

Reacting to the announcement, Jay Newton said he feels privileged to be listed as a performer.

“I am ecstatic to be named along with other talented acts selected to perform at this event. I respect DJ Tunez, he is one of the disc jockeys propagating the culture of Afrobeats, and I promise to justify my inclusion with a worthy performance”.

Jay Newton also known as “Prophet EJ” is a Nigerian born US based singer-songwriter, producer, psalmist, and minister. He is best known for his smash singles like BAD FOR ME featuring Konshens, BAD HABIT, FALLING & TRUCK featuring Nonso Amadi, and NJIDE featuring Julius Kima.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, EJ is currently resident in Miami, Florida and is the lead pastor and founder of Great Grace Ministries. He plans to release his first gospel/Christian body of work next year.
