TASCK Announces Return of its Incredible Music Festival

From September 29 to October 2nd, 2022, renowned artists from across the continent will take Lagos by storm for a fascinating festival combining music, culture, lifestyle, and social impact.
A statement by the company said the TASCK Creative company would invite creatives, civil society organizations and private sectors to come together and encourage young Nigerians to participate in the upcoming 2023 elections.
The statement also noted that the event is set to be an immersive experience that will chart the way forward for the creative industry and social impact in Nigeria and on the continent.
The statement revealed that after a stellar debut in 2021, the festival is back and better than ever with a variety of incredible events, such as a panel discussion with conversations about creatives using their platform for change and a networking session inviting creatives to discuss their social projects for potential funding, as well as a world wide live stream concert honoring Nigeria’s independence day with some of the biggest musical acts including Waje and Tomi Owo.
The statement further explained that the festival would have more than just entertaining activities; in collaboration with Battle Rap Africa, it will also host a Block party which will feature the infamous Blaqbonez as the headlining act.
The statement remarked that in line with that, up and coming rappers will be given the opportunity to show off their skills at the concert, adding that a cookout which would include food and live performances by M.I. and several of his well-known friends will also be part of the festival.
The statement said: “Nigeria is not ready for this festival! Where have we seen an event where we’re bringing up and coming artists, A-list artists, activists, tech guys, private sector guys all together in the same space to have conversations, eat, party, and create change? I mean it’s unheard of,” Jude ‘M.I’ Abaga, Chief Executive Officer of TASCK stated: “We are giving young creatives a platform to shine and at the same time we’re telling people to go out and vote.”
The statement noted that the event would give creatives the opportunity to utilize their platform as a means to drive social impact. In keeping with the ongoing #vote4Nigeria and #iregistered campaigns, creatives will use their influence and encourage audiences to collect their PVC’s and vote in the upcoming 2023 elections.
The statement added that TASCK went on to announce that the IMF would also take place in Jos, Plateau at a later date with a lineup that will have some of the most exciting names in the industry, from international superstars to homegrown talents.
According to the statement, “Through fostering important conversations and sending powerful messages, the TASCK Creative company has remained consistent in its work to bridge the gap between creativity and influence. The company is a driving force in the entertainment industry and this event is just an example of its spectacular influence on creatives.”
