Tunde Jago Releases ‘Dark Skin’ Single Off New EP

The new Ep of Tunde Jago has earned admirers with a captivating attitude. Tunde Jago transformed Nigeria’s vast online music Industry into the country’s trendiest Afropop hotspot in September. It seemed to be a thrilling encounter that was equal parts physical relief and cathartic soul-searching.

When Tunde Jago’s new Ep: “Kashamadupe,”  seemed to have garnered a large number of listeners there was a rise in its streams and downloads. However, Kashamadupe which means offering thanks, is a newly discovered admiration, instilled with a four-tracked Ep. As such,  each track is recognized as a massive body of finished work. However, “Kashamadupe” EP is Tunde Jago’s first Sophomore project,  each track was a sole performance with no features which makes it a unique body of work. One of these tracks is

The Song “dark skin”. The lyrics of this song spoke about Tunde’s admiration for a dark-skinned lady who was one of a kind. He declares his love for the most beautiful woman he has ever met by travelling across a wide ocean for her. She is the type of lady he wants to be with, therefore he promised to be with her and never hurt her.

However, Tunde praises her, saying that his crest gets a delicious chill from her alluring sculpture. Therefore, the riddim of love and enchantment is still there even if this song is often associated with the love songs of an enigmatic man.
