Deratheboy (Also Known as Dëra) hails from Anambra State, Nigeria. 
He was formerly a graphic designer who had a zeal for music and leveraged on the opportunities associated with his hobby. It all began in stages when he developed a consistent spirit of growth in music production.
He revealed how paramount it is to make good beats. Therefore, music is a part of him and the best way to bring these tune to life, is to produce more.

Deratheboy (Also Known as Dëra) also recently partnered with popular brand, ‘SPLICE’  to release his Sound Kit For Producers to access all around the world.

His alluring sound and melodies can be heard on pop-artist Joeboy’s lead single Baby, this has no doubt contributed to the song’s widespread success.

Also, the music producer and mixing engineer, has series of awards globally in his name.
These awards are; Song of the year (headies), Pop song of the year(Afrimma), The Latin Grammy (Latin), etcetera. 

Furthermore, Deratheboy has successfully produced for top artist like; Marcus Mumford, Major lazer, Sauti sol, Joeboy, Oxlade, Patoranking, Teniola, Ceeza milli, and, to mention a few.

Hence, he enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks and creating beats for songs.
