An education expert, Ogechi Ugwuanyi, has published a book named “Present Reflection” to raise awareness of the value of educating girls.

The book, according to the author, analyzes the importance of education for a country and also makes the observation that promoting girls’ education has a positive impact on communities, economies, and inequality.

Speaking over the weekend in Abuja, Ogechi added that the book is a compilation of intriguing poetry that have been precisely organized into various themes in order to accentuate the repeated building desire of the majority.

The novel, according to Ogechi, compassionately portrays the psyche of men and women in the present while also exposing the mental enslavement caused by tradition, religion, politics, and a number of other factors.

The author is a well-known activist from Enugu State and a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria’s English literature program.

She has received multiple honors for her outstanding work defending the rights of girls and children. In addition, she uses her vast expertise to write another novel, “Daunting Bunch of Dhalias,” which was released on the same day.

Speaking to reporters was the author’s daughter, Ms. Treasure Ugwuanyi, who also penned a novel about cleanliness and hygiene, “Three Smelly Underwear.”

The 5 year old Author said, “ I have fallen in love with writing since when I was 3 years old, and my novel ‘Three smelly underwear’, focuses on raising awareness for children’s personal hygiene, so they don’t get germs and fall sick.” she said.

An educational consultant, Mrs. Helen Samuel, also noted at the book launch that the situation of children in the country needs to receive the necessary attention.

Education for women, according to her, boosts the economy and lowers poverty since educated girls are less likely to marry young and are more likely to live long, fulfilling lives she added.
