Naijatraffic Founder, Iking Ferry Changes Surname to Mbadiwe

Iking Ferry, the founder and chairman of Naijatraffic Limited, a media and technology company that focuses on Music Streaming, Ecommerce, Logistics, Car Rental, and Food and beauty products manufacturing, has officially changed his surname from Nwede to Mbadiwe, to be Addressed as Ikechukwu Emmanuel Mbadiwe.

The decision to change his name was made in honor of his father, Mr. Mbadiwe Innocent Agwu, and to align with the Igbo proverb that states that when a child grows, he bears his father’s name. According to Ferry, his father had registered his name in school using his grandfather’s name, Nwede Ikechukwu, which had caused confusion about his origins.

Born in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Ferry has risen to become a notable entrepreneur in Nigeria’s tech industry, with Naijatraffic Limited leading the way in various sectors. The company’s focus on music streaming, e-commerce, logistics, car rental, and food and beauty products manufacturing has attracted a large following, and Ferry’s leadership has been key to its success.

Speaking about his decision to change his name, Ferry said, “I believe it’s important to honor our parents and ancestors by bearing their names. Mbadiwe is my father’s name, and I feel proud to carry it as my surname. It’s a small but meaningful way to show my appreciation for his guidance and support throughout my life.”

Ferry’s decision has been met with widespread support from his colleagues, friends, and fans, who have congratulated him on the move. Many have praised him for his commitment to honoring his family and roots, and for setting an example for others to follow.

As Naijatraffic continues to grow and expand, Ferry’s leadership and vision will undoubtedly play a crucial role in its success. With his new name, he is poised to continue making a significant impact in Nigeria’s tech industry and beyond.
