Empire Lagos: Filling Housing Gaps, Building Dreams

In the ever-evolving landscape of Nigeria’s real estate sector, one company has stood out as a beacon of excellence and integrity, dedicated to bridging the housing deficit in the nation.

Empire Estates and Equipment Solutions, known as Empire Lagos, is making waves in the property development, management, and marketing industry.

Empire Lagos evolved from UCDEMAS INVESTMENT NIG. LTD and was established in 2015. The company was born out of the vision of its founder, Chris Nwabuoku, to address the pressing demand for housing in Nigeria while ensuring clients’ property needs are met with transparency and reliability.

They serve as the bridge that connects sellers and buyers, facilitating real estate transactions comfortably and honestly.

Empire Lagos offers a comprehensive range of services, including the supply of heavy machinery and engineering equipment, provision of building materials, property valuation, title document processing, and facility management.

Nwabuoku’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his credentials as a seasoned professional. e

He has earned certifications and memberships in prestigious organisations such as the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in the USA, the Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria (AEAN) and the Certified Institute of Auctioneers in Nigeria (CIAN).

Nwabuoku’s journey from academia to entrepreneurship is a testament to his dedication to significantly impacting the housing sector.

Having initially pursued degrees in psychology and personnel management, including a Master of Science from the University of Ibadan, he spent 15 years as a lecturer.

However, his passion for addressing Nigeria’s housing challenges led him to venture into the real estate sector. “Shelter is one of the most critical needs of man.

Only then can a person focus better on other needs to become efficient at their jobs,” Nwabuoku notes.

Empire Lagos is not merely a real estate company; it’s a mission-driven enterprise to provide affordable land and housing for Nigerians and help close the housing deficit.

Their ongoing projects in Lagos (Epe, Magodo, Ikeja, Olowora, Omole Phase 2, Ajah), Ibadan, Ekiti, and Port Harcourt, as well as other projects and surrounding areas, exemplify this commitment to making homeownership a reality for many.

In an exclusive interview, Nwabuoku highlighted their challenges, including navigating Nigeria’s business environment with its bureaucratic hurdles and inconsistent policies.

However, their most significant accomplishment, as he describes it, is the joy and satisfaction on their client’s faces as they fulfil their promises.

Aspiring professionals in the real estate field can draw inspiration from Empire Lagos’s founder, Nwabuoku, who emphasised the importance of decisiveness, resilience, and continuous skill development.

His motto, “Integrity is the bedrock of our business,” reflects the company’s core values and unwavering commitment to ethical business practices.

In a nation where housing remains a fundamental need, Empire Lagos stands tall as a beacon of hope, determined to make homeownership a reality for countless Nigerians.

As they continue to work diligently to bridge the housing gap, they are building houses and dreams of a brighter future.
