The inaugural event held last year witnessed participants from the twin and triplet community engaging in friendly competitions, with the ultimate prize of 1 million naira awarded to the winner.

The event garnered attention from esteemed media outlets, including Shaderoom and Tundeednut, while YouTube recognized their achievements by presenting them with the coveted YouTube plaque and a special gift for surpassing 100 million total views on their channel. They were also invited as featured creators to the YouTube virtual creator program, YouTubecreator360, where they shared their inspiring success journey as YouTube shorts creators.

The YouTube official Instagram account even commented on their profile, appreciating them for their contribution to the YouTube community. Additionally, they were honoured with the title of “Most Populous TikTok Creator” in 2020. Adding to their impressive lineage, Doubledstwins are the proud brothers of SamSpedy, the Nigerian YouTube comedian with the highest number of subscribers.
