Simi’s Sweet 35th Birthday Moment

Whether she looks the age or not doesn’t really matter to her fans and followers as they exchanged banters on social media, celebrating the songstress, Simi, who marked her 35th birthday last Wednesday surrounded by close friends. The talented singer/songwriter wowed her fans with photos from her birthday shoot in which she dazzled in red.
While she noted her new age, she praised herself for being the most real person she knew. In her birthday mood, Simi stated how grateful she was, for being surrounded by the people she loved the most. “35 and fine. Happy birthday to the realest person I know. I type this tipsy as hell and surrounded by my most loved. If God don’t love me most, I don’t know who,” she wrote.
To celebrate his wife on her special day, singer Adekunle Gold penned sweet note on how they met and more. Taking to his official Instagram page, Gold posted a photo of them in Marrakech, Morocco, for her birthday vacation and a video of the sweet moment he gifted Simi a customised diamond necklace.
Gold described Simi as the “girl of my youth,” adding that he was grateful they met a decade ago. He wrote: “God bless the day I met you at Bogobiri 10 years ago. 10 years of being my magic. I’m grateful for you, for everything you do.” He then referenced the lyrics of one of his popular songs, Orente, which he wrote for Simi.
He used the opportunity to emphasise just how much their lives have changed. “Been through it all with you so as we start to dey chop life now, we go live it up to the fullest. Orente mi, Ati lowo, Ati nile lori, Ati bimo, Alafia njoba ninu ile’wa, Aye wa dun bi oyin. Happy Birthday Girl of my youth.”
Simi, laden with emotion responded in the comment, saying: “I should cry abi I should not cry. I love you Champ. After you, it’s you again – then you one more time. Then after that, it’s you also. Olowo ori mi. AG baby, we know whose baby you are. Orente crooner. Party No Dey Stop Maestro. Na man you be!”
