Four APC Legislators-elect Receive Certificates of Return in Niger

Four members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) elected into the Niger State House of Assembly in the last supplementary election have received their certificates of return.
Those who received the certificates of return from the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Alhaji Ahmed Yushau Garki, were Alhaji Mohammed Garba (Agwara LGA), Alhaji Bako Bello (Rijau LGA), Alhaji Mohammed Musa Etsugaie (Agaie LGA), and Alhaji Zubairu Ismaila (Rafi LGA).
Presenting the certificates to the members-elect at the INEC headquarters in Minna, Garki congratulated them for their “resounding victories” in the supplementary election, saying: “In any contest, there must be a winner and a loser, therefore, I urge you to extend your hands of sportsmanship to the losers, so that together you can contribute your quota to the development of the
state.”
Garki also enjoined the members-elect to be magnanimous in victory, and pray to Allah to give them wisdom and the courage to enact laws that will impact positively on the lives of the people
Also, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ogundele Joshua Ayodeji, had said security agents provided conducive atmosphere to all the politicians irrespective of their political affiliation before, during and after the general elections, and assured the state that the command would maintain the tempo.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the member-elect of Agaie constituency, Mohammed Isah Etsu Gaie, lauded INEC management and staff for the success recorded during the supplementary elections in the four local council areas.
