RIMAN Set to Inaugurate Charter Status as CRMI

The Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN) is set to officially inaugurate its organisations status to charted and is to be called Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI).

The Registrar CRMI, Victor Olannye in a statement noted that the forthcoming inauguration ceremony themed “Risk Management Driving Organizational Agility” is scheduled to hold on the 11th of May 2023 at 12 noon at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

He added that is slated to engage stakeholders to stay abreast of the evolving trends in risk management.

He stated: “The essence of risk management driving organizational agility lies in the ability of organizations to respond to rapidly changing business environments while minimizing the potential negative impact of risks. In today’s business world, organizations face a plethora of risks ranging from financial risks, operational risks, reputational risks, cyber risks, and many more. The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate these risks is critical for organizations to achieve agility, resilience, and sustainable growth.”

“The process for effective Risk management involves identifying, assessing, prioritizing, controlling, reporting, and monitoring risks to minimize their potential impact. It involves implementing strategies and processes to manage or mitigate risks, ensuring that an organization can achieve its objectives and operate effectively. When risk management is integrated into an organization’s operations, it can drive organizational agility in a lot of ways.
