Tosin Bee, Beezlenation Seeks to Promote African Tunes Through Their Music

Tosin Bee is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and anointed minister. As a songwriter, he has composed quite a number of songs, a significant number of which have spread across continents as powerful worship choruses. Prominent among these tracks are “You Are God, Soromidayo, No Lockdown, Testimony, Blessed, and It’s Happening”. His music has also received robust attention in the media, with frequent airplay across various radio stations in Nigeria.
Good singers are nothing without their band members.He performs with his band “Tosin Bee Music Band” also known as “Beezlenation” which comprises several members coming together to make good music time after time. His band members play an integral part in his music, churning out melodious rhythms and arrangements during his ministrations. He strategically handpicked his band; each member of the band is a master of their individual instruments with at least a decade’s experience.

Speaking about the kind of music he makes alongside his band he shares that, “We do Contemporary African (ALUJO) music which centres on percussion such as the talking drum, the drum set, Shekere, Omele and other local instruments delivering deliciousness to our ALUJO sound and performances. The music is sung in our local dialects alongside an artistic expression, the combination of chants and dance routine which is unique to the people of Nigeria.”

With compositions in English, Yoruba, pidgin, and in R&B as well as Soul genres, Tosin Bee’s talent infuses a cultural intersection into the international music industry. With listeners in Africa, Europe and North America, his music has aided the acceptance of African Languages in Western climes, while projecting Western genres in African societies.

It is worthy of note that the artiste alongside his band “Beezlenation” currently serve God through different worship expressions among which are: Switch with Tosin Bee which is an annual Musical concert, Praise Affair, Praise Unlimited and a few other productions. Given his passion for building the younger generation, he actively mentors young Ministers and Choirs. His work is aimed at helping his mentees attain mastery of their gifts, such that the Body of Christ is edified.
