District Governor Official Visit to Rotary Club of Lagos Central

The District Governor 9110, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson, has paid an official visit to the Rotary club of Lagos central, in a bid to promote stability, accountability and targeted vision among the districts.

Speaking at the event which was held in Lagos recently, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson stated that her visit was to uplift the goodwill spirit within the club.

“I’m here to support the club in those areas they are facing challenges, and also to encourage them in those areas they are doing excellent and preparing for the coming year and to make sure next year will be better from this year.”

Omotunde also commended the club for the good works which has been ongoing under the present administration.

The sitting President, Rotary Club of Lagos Central, Rotarian Abiodun Aderoju, revealed some fruition under his administration.

“When I was set out to be the President of this club, I have the desire of impacting the immediate environment in very positive manner, one of the project we executed is Elegbata Senior High School, we did some renovation and provides their basic needs.

“We also did another project where we sponsored scholarships for a-girl-child in partnership with rotary club of Manchester in Uk.”

On his remarks, the incoming president, Rotarian Abayomi Benson, divulged auspicious and strategics means to boost the club under his administration.

“The most important thing I want to achieve now is to make the club young, I want to bring more young people and let them understand what rotary club is all about, because rotary teaches you leadership which our youths requires.
