Perfection Ambrose, popularly known as Tyson Perfect, is an artist and music producer from Nigeria. “I started making music in 2015 and releasing music in 2018. I also started going to shows in 2018. I attended an event tagged with a rap battle and had to battle with stage fright. Someone was laughing at me while I was performing live with an instrumental I made, but after singing the chorus, everyone was amazed and happy; they all stood up and started hyping me. So yeah, that gave me a reason to keep pushing,” he narrates.

“My production is the reason my sounds are unique because I handle 100% of my music production. I write, record, and produce my songs. I’m trying to create my sound, build a legacy for my name, and create a different narrative for people trying to make music from my hood. My sounds are emotional, and no matter the vibe of the instrumental, it always communicates to people because I sing what people can relate to,” he says.
