Bayo Bayz commends Wizkid, BurnaBoy and stars pushing Afrobeats sounds globally

Nigerian singer, songwriter Adebayo Abobarin, known officially as Bayobayz has reacted to the growth of Afrobeat sound, commending the efforts of some of the frontier stars pushing the infectious genre.

Bayobayz is one of the young acts emerging in the Nigerian music industry. He has featured A-list singers including Mr Real and released several singles such as Iyanu, Asake, Celebrate you amongst others.

In a recent interview, the singer stated that Afrobeat is undoubtedly one of the most cherished genre across global music scene.

“Afrobeat is here to stay. I really appreciate and love some of the singers pushing this genre. Stars like Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy has contributed significantly to the growth of the sound”.

On his part, the singer revealed his passion to join forces with the star making the country proud and also pitch his name on the international scene.

“My focus is to keep pushing and following my unique path”, says the “Iyanu” crooner. “I believe so much in my talent and looking forward for more collaboration with stars across Africa and beyond”.

Quizzed on one star he admires and would love to work with, he said: “We all have dreams and aspirations. As a young artist, i have always listened to Chris Brown and sincerely love his vocal prowess. It would really be a great opportunity to feature him in my song”.
