Apex Petroleum’s unveils Marlon Bates as Head of Transit Fuel Sales

Apex Petroleum, a leading provider of motor fuel, heating oils, lubricants, and petroleum equipment, has announced the appointment of Marlon K. Bates as the new Director for Transit Fuel Sales and Marketing. With a career spanning over three decades in both public and private transportation and logistics, Mr. Bates brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his new role.

Prior to joining Apex Petroleum, Mr. Bates served as the General Manager for the Lextran Wheels Contract at RATP Dev in Lexington, KY. During his tenure, he allegedly oversaw the transition of a non-profit agency to a professional transit company and managed all aspects of a 60-day start-up for a paratransit operation.

In a press statement, Apex Petroleum noted that Mr. Bates boasts 10 years of experience at TransDev, the world’s largest transportation and environmental organization. There, he demonstrated exceptional performance in managing a budget exceeding $90 million, overseeing over 1000 employees, and managing fleets of up to 2000 vehicles.

In his new position at Apex Petroleum, Mr. Bates will assume the responsibility of developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth in the transit fuel sector.
