The Hajj Organiser Company for African Non Arab Pilgrims (Mutawif) has declared its determination to make the 2023 Hajj a worthwhile one for the Nigerian contingent to Saudi Arabia.
This declaration was made by some officials of the company’s board Mr. Umar Mandura, Mr Khalid and Mr. Adnan Mukhtar at a meeting with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Deputy Makkah Coordinator, Alhaji Alidu Shutti, held in Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
A statement issued by the NAHCON after the meeting in Makkak and made available to THISDAY in Ilorin, Kwara State yesterday, stated that “the company representatives are working hard to receive Nigerian Pilgrims to Makkah for the hajji exercise without any hindrance.”
The trio noted that “the company is poised to work with other relevant parties in the kingdom to give the pilgrims a memorable 2023 hajj experience because service to the pilgrims is a trust, honour and responsibilities.
Earlier, NAHCON Deputy Makkah Coordinator, Alhaji Shutti had expressed the appreciation of the Chairman/CEO of the NAHCON, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan and the past efforts of the company in serving the pilgrims diligently.
Alhaji Shutti harped on the need for the company to sustain and improve on their past achievements in Hajj management.
‘The leadership of the Commission is ever ready to key into innovation that will guarantee the success of 2023 Hajj operations,” Shutti added.
The operational meeting was attended by NAHCON Saudi Arabia Liaison Officer, Abubakar Lamin and his Deputy, Ibrahim Zikrullah.
