Lagos Perfumer Unveils the Niche Brand

Perfect Scent and Glamour Lounge Salon and Spa, will today, Sunday, May 4th, in Lagos, unveil a new brand of perfumes called, Niche perfumes.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the new addition, the Chief Executive Officer, O. J. Awa- Ibraheem, said, “I want something I can put my name on and it will be long lasting.”

Her journey into perfumery started in the United States when she met the supplier of the products.

“I had a chance meeting with a supplier in the United States with my sister, who worked there. I made that contact and later when I realised Nouba, the Italian make-up brand I was dealing with, was not doing well, I introduced perfume. That was how it started “.

On her experience with the make-up line, Ibraheem said: “I had a Franchise called Nouba. It was a good brand. I discovered it came a bit too early, just before the surge in the make-up industry. I am a businesswoman. Mine is about profit, not what makeup is. I don’t even wear make-up on a normal day.”

The event will be attended by celebrities, fashionistas, and dignitaries like Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi.
