‘Kwara Gov’s Second Term ‘ll Advance Infrastructural Devt’

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kwara State, Mr. AbdulRauf Baba AbdulRazaq, has said that the inauguration of the incumbent Governor of Kwara State, Mr. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for second term in office would add more value to the infrastructural development of the state.

In view of this, AbdulRauf advised the people of the state to join hands with the governor to bring new paradigm shift in the efforts to accelerate the socio economic development of the state.

He stated this in Ilorin over the weekend while speaking with journalists on the governance of the state.

The APC stalwart, who is also a brother to the governor, also described him “as God send with the mandate of continuity to serve all Kwarans with improved living standards in healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture and security in Kwara State.”

He said that the “governor’s hardworking spirit, tenaciousness and dedication to the progress of the state has earned him many accolades and honours that has cumulated into his emergence as the chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).

He commended AbdulRazaq for his outstanding leadership qualities, his developmental projects across all sectors and the prompt payment of full salaries of civil servants including the traditional rulers.

AbdulRauf also congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and all members of the state’s traditional councils, the APC State Chairman, Mr. Sunday Fagbemi, and all party executives for the victory.

He prayed to God to continue to uphold the governor on his new task as the NGF’s chairman and also on his assumption of office for another term.

The APC chieftain also called on the people of the state to continue to support the present administration in the state in order to move the state forward.
