Darling  Hair Launches New Product

Darling Nigeria, one of the leading manufacturers of hair extension, products has announced its new produce called Darling duchess.

According to the firm, the product is as light as natural hair, soft, smooth, with fuller tips, and comes in six colours.

Speaking at the launch, recently in Lagos  the Business Head, West Africa, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Chitwan Singh, expressed the brand’s elation to introduce to the Nigerian market ‘darling duchess’.

According to him, “they deployed novel, cutting edge technology to create the product, adding that Nigeria was the first market in the world where the product was introduced.”

He further said the technology ensures the delivery of the ultra light feature of the braid like its superior shine, soft texture and fuller tips guaranteed to deliver a premium braiding experience to consumers.

“Darling Nigeria is renowned for celebrating and supporting African women, their beauty, boldness and unstoppable spirit. This is constantly showcased in their array of products specifically tailored for every African woman. With the newly launched hair extension, consumers can expect to have a premium experience while braiding,” he stated.

Speaking also, Head of Marketing West Africa, Hair Fashion, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Gbenga Alabi, said: “We are fully aware that African women, especially the Nigerian woman, demands and deserves quality braids. But today, the heaviness of existing hair extension products is a barrier, exacerbated by the rising price of this class of consumer goods. Similarly, Head of Sales, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Emeka Okeke commented that braids remained the heart of their brand.

“That the product is light as their own hair, even after a month of wear the shine means that it will still look as good as new. The hero SKU is the one pack enough pre-cut braid that gives consumers a premium braiding experience, at a 20 percent cost saving and a 25 percent time saving compared to regular braids,” he said.
