Akpata Celebrates Dele Oye As 22nd NACCIMA President
The immediate past President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr Olumide Akpata, has felicitated Dele Oye on his inauguration as the 22nd President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
Oye’s inauguration was in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, during the 63rd Annual General Meeting/Conference of NACCIMA themed “Promoting Public-Private Partnership for National Development”.
Akpata, the Senior Partner at Templars Law Firm, said Oye’s emergence as the President was well deserved.
He also expressed confidence that Oye would bring his skills and experience to bear in driving the next phase of growth for NACCIMA.
Oye is the Principal Partner at Dele Oye & Associates. He has over 30 years of legal experience in securities litigation, business succession planning, employment law counselling and litigation, commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate transactions.
A 1988 Law graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Oye has been the Chairman of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), National Deputy President of NACCIMA, and Chairman of the Nigeria-Turkey Business Council (NTBC).
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).
He is also the Governing Council Member of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), a Member of the Council of Legal Education (2013-2016), Member of the Body of Benchers (2016-2019).
