Flour Mills of Nigeria Commits to Sustainable Development

Flour Mills of Nigeria, has announce the successful commissioning of a solar-powered clean water plant it financed for the Gbaji-Yeke Community, Badagry.

The company in a statement said the milestone was achieved in partnership with the Lagos State Government under the esteemed One Community at A Time project (OCAAT), which aims to address the specific needs of grassroots communities and provide sustainable solutions.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Group HR & Services Director FMN, Mr. Wale Adediran, expressed enthusiasm for the project and its transformative impact on the Gbaji-Yeke Community. “We are proud to partner with the Lagos State Government through the One Community At A Time project to deliver this solar-powered clean water plant,” he said in his address.

The Secretary to the State Government, expressed her excitement about the project and its impact on the Gbaji-Yeke Community. She stated, “The commissioning of this solar-powered clean water plant marks a significant milestone in the OCAAT initiative, delivering critical infrastructure for Lagos State communities.”
