CEO Shares Her Journey to Success in Fashion Industry

Women are currently forming a formidable force in all spheres of life — from tech to engineering through to leadership positions in both private and public sectors, no woman wants to be left out.

They have not only tripled their efforts, a handful of women have risen to become governors and CEOs of multinational and international companies. And they are raising the bar.

It is in light of this new agenda setting that Tracy-Benson Nwawulu is passionately steering the wheel of Tranons Luxury Clothing, a fast rising fashion and designing company in Lagos, as the Chief Executive Officer.

The Chief Executive Officer of Tranons Luxury Clothing and Tranons Fashion Academy is passionate about creativity.

She started her entrepreneurial journey with her first company Tranons Bead Academy and has grown her business into a multi-million naira firm.

As part of her efforts to tem the high unemployment rate, encouraging people to create jobs for themselves, Nwawulu has established a fashion institution “Tranons Fashion Academy” where Nigerians can enroll in and acquire skills of their choice.

Speaking during the official opening of Tranons Fashion Academy, the founder, Nwawulu, disclosed that the institution was established to empower men and women in the society who want to be entrepreneurs.

According to her, “We solely have in our interest to provide skills that will aid youths to be self employed and put out more visibility on the Nigerian fashion industry.

“We want to build a platform where the world recognises that Africa is diversified when it comes to fashion and creativity.”
