Gombe  Reappoints Prof Njodi as SSG, Misilli as DG Press Affairs

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Yahay, has approved the re-appointment of Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi as the Secretary to the State  Government (SSG).

The governor also approved the appointment of Ismaila Uba Misilli as the director-general of Press Affairs in the Government House.

Also appointed is Dr. Mu’azu Shehu as the director-general (Research and Documentation). All the appointments took effect from June 1, as contained in a statement issued by Balarabe Poloma, permanent secretary, Government House, Gombe.

Also, Governor Yahaya has approved the constitution of the State Honourary Advisory Committee (SHAC).

The committee was announced yesterday in a statement signed by the Information Officer in the SSG Office, Joshua Danmalam.

 It members are: Prof. Idris Mohammed, who is to serve as chairman, while Dr. Ibrahim Jalo Daudu, Muhammad Kabir Ahmad, and Prof. Baba Yusuf Abubakar are to serve as members.

Other members are Dr. M.I. Jimeta, Prof. Fatima Sawa, Saidu Aliyu Mohammed, Suleiman Moh’d Kumo, Abubakar Bappah, and Dr. Mu’azu Shehu, who is the secretary of the committee, as the appointments took immediate effect.
