Business organisations have been urged to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AÌ) tools to enable and expedite growth across the board.
Experts declared this at the just concluded Technext Convo exclusively organised for key stakeholders in select segments to meet, greet and share knowledge.
The event hosted over 70 startup founders and business executives in the tech space, also featured fireside chat with notable tech players.
Speaking at the quarterly programme, themed-”Maximizing for Geometric Growth “, Country Manager at Zoho, Kehinde Ogundare spelt out the values of AI automation tools for scalability in businesses, urging organisations to harness the technology for productivity.
He also reiterated collaboration, instead of competition as been essential to growth.
He said, “When you are trying to scale, you don’t go for the big markets, you look for the easier ones to cash, and then you gather them together, which will now propel you to become a unicorn that you always want to be fantastic.”
Similarly, President and co-CEO of Opay, Olu Akanmu warned startups against unhealthy competition but advised them to explore opportunities in a less saturated space or market to be able to maximise for geometric growth.
He said: “I think one thing that stands out is the principle of a contested process when a start-up wants to go head-to-head with incumbents, the chances that they will succeed, given that they don’t have resources is very low. They can find other spaces that have the potential to scale where the incumbents are not serving, where they can use their technology to unlock those opportunities and go for it.”
Akanmu further commended the drive for the programme, stating that it was an opportunity to spread knowledge to ambitious startups and millenials who are ready to influence the future.
