Sani Constitutes Committee to Assess Ongoing Projects in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has constituted an eight-man committee to determine the status of ongoing projects across the state.

This was contained in a statement yesterday, by Muhammad Shehu, spokesperson of the governor.

Shehu said the setting up of the committee was in line with the government’s commitment to speedily complete all priority projects.

The statement said the committee was expected to, “Determine the status of all ongoing projects across the state; get the details of contractual agreements/obligations; find out the funding arrangements and commitments of parties.

“Find out the completion period of the projects and come up with specific recommendations on each project.”

The committee was given four weeks to submit its report.

Members of the committee, according to the statement included Sabiu Sani, Special Adviser, Investment & Promotion – Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi B. Ahmed, Special Adviser, Project Monitoring, Implementation and Result Delivery, Dr. Mustapha Musa, Special Adviser, Legal matters and Fabian Okoye, Special Adviser, Research, Documentation & Strategy.

Other members of the committee included Ibrahim T. Muhammad, Special Adviser, Economic Matters, Atiku Sankey, Special Adviser, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Larai Ishaku and Shuaibu Kabir Bello, Senior Special Assistant, ICT as Secretary of the committee.
