Tunde, Wunmi Obe’s 25 Years Marriage

Veteran entertainment couple Tunde and Wunmi Obe are celebrating their silver jubilee anniversary. The celebrity duo took to twitter to share messages on each other as they celebrate this milestone in their love journey. In a post on his twitter handle, Tunde gushed over their union, as he recalls the promise made by his wife to spend time with him till they both grow old.

 “Well, here we are…oh! Please continue to manage me like that. I love you to the moon and back sweetheart”, he wrote. Wunmi, in her post wrote: “25 years today on this amazing marital journey. I won’t lie, even I didn’t think we’d make it this far. But here we are today. Still standing… together. Happy Anniversary sweetheart. I love you.”

The music couple who simply go by the acronym ‘TWO’ shared beautiful pictures celebrating their love. Fans of the couple and other Nigerians congratulated them, with some of their followers urging their colleagues and other celebrities to look up to them. Tunde and Wunmi Obe got married on the 26th of June, 1998.

Tunde Obe had announced earlier in the year that 2023 will make it 35 years of their friendship and 25years of marriage. He said that people always ask ‘how did you do it’? I think the easiest way to answer this question is that people stay together because they want to! If you really want to separate from someone, you will find a reason to.
