66th Birthday: Obaseki Hails Edo People, Friends for Donations to Vulnerable, Cleanup exercise, Others

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has hailed Edo people, friends, and associates for the outpouring of love and kind wishes during his 66th birthday celebration.

In a statement, the governor acknowledged the kind gestures of various groups who heeded the call to contribute to the well-being of the children with special needs and others who engaged in a clean-up exercise across the State, as part of activities to commemorate his birthday.

According to the statement, “I sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and kind wishes from friends, associates, and the good people of Edo State on the occasion of my birthday.

“The show of love has been overwhelming. The efforts by different groups to organise and engage in a clean-up exercise across the state resonate deeply with the vision for a clean, safe, and orderly state, which remains one of our cardinal programmes as a government.

“I am grateful to all who heeded the call to contribute to the well-being of the children with special needs at the Roseluyi Exceptional Students Academy.”
