Speaking on the his decision to embody a cowboy persona, Shefzy says, “The RodeoBoy look is an image that reflects his growing up on the farm, and as a farm boy, the look is a concept that indicates who he is outside his music’. And adorning the cowboy regalia stems from my desire to stand out and be different. I believe that as an artist, it’s essential to have a unique identity, both musically and visually. The cowboy aesthetic resonates with me on a personal level, and it allows me to express my individuality and creativity.”

He further says “Growing up, I was always fascinated by Western movies and the cowboy culture portrayed in them. I admired the spirit of exploration and the sense of adventure associated with cowboys. As I embarked on my music career, I wanted to create a visual identity that would set me apart. The cowboy attire seemed like the perfect fit for it and still staying true to my Nigerian roots.”
