CIOTA Nigeria Holds Transport Managers’ Conference

The Chartered Institute of Transport Administration Nigeria (CIOTA) is set to hold its transport managers’ conference designed for industry policymakers, experts, and enthusiasts, to address critical issues shaping Nigeria’s transportation landscape.
The two-day programme which will hold on July 26 and 27, at the Chida International Hotel, Abuja, is themed ‘Impact of Transportation Practices on Security and Sustainable Mobility’.
The National Publicity Secretary, Chinwe Uwaegbute stated that the groundbreaking conference hosted by CIOTA Nigeria, is open to transport managers, industry experts, government representatives, academics, and all individuals passionate about advancing transportation practices for a secure and sustainable future.
“The conference aims to shed light on innovative solutions, practices, and strategies to tackle challenges in transportation while ensuring an efficient and secure system that supports sustainable development.”
“Distinguished speakers and thought leaders from diverse backgrounds, including transportation management, policy-making, logistics, and strategy, will grace the conference.
“Attendees should expect insightful keynote presentations, engaging panel sessions moderated by industry leaders, and networking opportunities to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and actionable insights. Notable guests from significant agencies and organisations such as NURTW, VIO, NDLEA, MOMAN, ADIN, and more will participate in the conference, discussing a wide range of topics including the implications of subsidies, environmental challenges, transportation management practices, and the harmonization of road taxes, among others.
