Rite Foods Restates Support for Tourism, Culture

Food and beverage firm, Rite Foods Limited has pledged continued support to the promotion of culture for socio-economic growth. 

The organisation made this known at the just concluded Ojude-Oba festival that held in Ijebu-Ode,Ogun state.

The annual festival celebrated every year on the third day of the Muslim Eid-el-Kabir celebrations is considered most glamorous cultural and spiritual festival that converged worshippers of varied traditional religions to showcase their identities while dancing in turns to local drums and songs.

The festival afforded Rite Foods, a major sponsor of the show to showcase its product varieties all of which have become integral to the festival’s traditions. 

Speaking at the function, Managing Director of the company, Seleem Adegunwa stated that the company’s gesture was in fulfilment of its promise to preserving cultural values through valued initiatives like the Ojude-Oba festival that contributed immensely to artistic and tourism potential of Ogun State. 

He said, “Rite Foods Limited’s sponsorship of the Ojude Oba festival exemplifies its commitment to preserving cultural heritage, connecting with consumers, and promoting peaceful coexistence. The company’s array of renowned brands continues to play a significant role in celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of the Ijebu-land”.

Adegunwa further commended the host monarch, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona for his enduring efforts in upholding the legacy of Ijebu-land during his over six-decade reign as the supreme ruler.

He called for more support for the historic festival which he said stands to be beneficial to the populace.
