Senator Mohammed Bima Enagi who represented Niger South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly at the weekend began the distribution of fertilizer to farmers in the 8 local government areas in Niger South.

“I will continue to discharge my responsibilities to the people in my constituency either I am a Senator or not, it has become my way of life” Bima who is challenging his defeat in the 2023 senatorial election at the Niger State Governorship /National / State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal said.
He charged farmers to cultivate more land with food and cash crops for them to be able to meet their family and other demands, adding that the free distribution of the fertilizer will go a long way for them to realise their ambitions.
Bima also said the gesture will cushion the effect on them of the removal of subsidy from petrol by the federal government before urging the beneficiaries not to sell the farm input.
He charged the people to be patient with both the state and federal governments, adding that the steps being taken are to make life better for all Nigerians and revamp the national economy.
Bima commended the people for living in peace with one another, emphasising that the situation should be sustained because “without peace there cannot be development”.
The farmers appreciated Senator for coming to their aid and prayed for his success at the tribunal.
