“The passing away of Senator Ohuabunwa’s dear wife has brought immense sorrow not only to the family but also to the entire community and Abia state as a whole.” He said

While emphasizing the need for compassion and solidarity during this challenging time, he urged Nigerians from all walks of life to unite in extending their support to Senator Ohuabunwa and his family and recalling that grief knows no political boundaries.

Reacting further, he emphasized the need of joining together as a nation to assist one another at times of loss and sadness. He noted that giving support, praying, and standing steadfast with well-meaning Nigerians who selflessly pour out their hearts and humanity to serve the nation in difficult times is an important approach to create harmony and coexistence in society.

More so, Anyaso acknowledged the significant contributions of Senator Mao and his late wife to the growth and development of Abia State and the nation at large. Saying, “As a seasoned politician, statesman, and public servant, Senator Ohuabunwa and his late wife, Lady Nimi have devoted their lives to the betterment of their constituents, Abia state and the Nigerian people.”

The statement noted that Anyaso and the entire Young Progressive Peoples Party (YPP) family in solidarity mourn with Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and pray for strength and solace for the bereaved family.

“May the soul of Lady Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa perfectly rest in the bosom of the Almighty God until the resurrection day when the Saints shall rise again and die no more.” He said.
