UNILAG Faculty of Engineering Set to Inaugurate Offices, Classrooms

The University of Lagos, Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association (UNILAGFEAA), will on July 28, inaugurate and hand over the newly constructed lecturers’ offices to the faculty 

The association’s Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Lawal, in a statement, said that the university’s  Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folashade Ogunsola, will be on ground to commission the projects.

He added that, some of the offices were donated by an alumnus and the Group Managing Director of Geoplex Drillteq Limited, Wole Ogunsanya, while the other offices were donated by  the association  under the leadership of  the Managing Director of Kresta Laurel Limited, Dideolu Falobi.

He thanked Ogunsanya for keeping his promise to execute the project in record time, as well as other  donors to the faculty, including Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Governor Seyi Makinde and the 1985 set of the association.

Lawal disclosed that, “the UNILAGFEAA is also executing the construction of  a 116-seater classrooms as part of the N500 million developmental project embarked upon by the executives with the objective of creating an optimal educational environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence.”

He appealed to other alumni members of the association who are yet to contribute to the on-going developments to do so, while commending other alumni of the institution for their generous contributions support for the association and faculty, which has led to a significant upgrade in its infrastructure.
