‘Plan C’ Stars Nkem Owoh, Bimbo Akintola, Frank Donga

A number of film production studios have collaborated to make history in a move considered as major as they announce conclusion of principal photography of the comedy movie, ‘Plan C’, using first of its kind camera – the Sony Venice 2. The film features sterling cast of Nollywood actors such as Nkem Owoh, Akin Lewis, Lizzy Jay, Bimbo Akintola, Faithia Balogun, and Uzor Arukwe.
Other stars on ‘Plan C’ include Frank Donga, Kelechi Udegbe, Bianca Ugowanne, Greg Ojeifua, Ayo Badmus, Mama No Network, Westy Baba, Lydia Lawrence Nze, Maryjane Ogu, and Alariya. ‘Plan C’ boasts of a gripping plot; it follows the story of an intending couple Tishe and Nnamdi, a naughty sister, hilarious parents from both sides and host of naughty friends who make the movie non-stop fun from start to finish.
Tishe’s dad owns one of Nigeria’s biggest real estate firms while Nnamdi’s father is a major land speculator. If both businesses merge, theirs will be a major conglomerate. To ensure the future of their company and cement their long-time friendship, both men resolve to force their eligible children into an arranged union. Things get awry as series of ill-fated plans set off dangers and consequences leading to an unknown end.
Consequently leaving the couple’s friends and naughty sister to join forces and hack a near-impossible escape. Directed by Samuel ‘Bigsam’ Olatunji, and seasoned producers led by Wale Osagie Muraina, others are Adebola Adeyela (Lizzy Jay), Bianca Ugowanne and Olukanmi Abayomi (Abazee). Yvonne Jegede, a lead cast of the movie makes part of the project team as associate producer.
Speaking on the upcoming title, ‘Bigsam’ said it’s an ambitious project, adding that “Plan C is the kind of story Nollywood would be proud of. “It’s comedy told with depth of story, technical deft, and notable performers that will grip you from the opening scene to the last.” He further revealed that “We took our time to weave it layer upon layer because the scale of the story has prompted us to have a sequel planned.”
‘Plan C’ is billed for theatrical run before debut on VOD platforms.
