UK-based Businesswoman, Omobolanle Olatise, Makes Nigeria Proud

If success, hard work, dedication and selflessness needed an apt definition, Mrs. Omobolanle Olatise, better known by the sobriquet Alexis Alexis, fits into such description. All her life, she attained greatness with a dint of hard work and dedication backed with sufficient grace from her creator.

But rather than allow the absurd and frivolous things of life to get into her head, she has remained calm, shrewd and humble.

The UK-based businesswoman has often faced criticism from naysayers who are hell-bent on undermining her efforts and taking her down. But despite the disparaging comments and aspersions being cast by her enemies, she has remained unperturbed, dedicating her life to hard work as a good ambassador of Nigeria and continuing to fly the Nigerian flag with pride on her shoulders.

She is a woman who has few circles of friends but is well known for her hospitable and welcoming nature, most especially for Nigerians who find themselves in the UK.

Some years back when the University of Lagos graduate of estate management relocated to the UK in search of new opportunities, many thought she would be swept off by the tides. But with her never relenting spirit and doggedness, she was able to turn every situation that would ordinarily have sunk any lazy person into a favourable one.

The healthcare enthusiast ventured into the murky waters of entrepreneurship and was able to establish and carve a niche for herself in and outside Nigeria, with businesses which include Nursery Schools, Care Homes Property companies and Alexis promotions in the United Kingdom.

With thousands of staff strength, she has not stopped creating value and wealth for humanity. She also owns businesses in Nigeria, some of which include Happygems Group of Companies, a conglomerate that runs schools, farms, construction, real estate, oil and gas, and other business pies.

The Iyalaje of Aramoko-Ekiti is also a well-known philanthropist who has dedicated her life to cheerful giving.

For her love of entertainment, she has held the UK entertainment scene down for years with her Alexis promotion brand, promoting several Nigerian artists in the UK. Recently, she made history as the first show promoter to bring Fuji maestro; King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to perform at the prestigious 20,000 seating capacity 02 Arena in London.

In a bid to globalise the Fuji brand, she would be celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day on October 1, 2023, with a party at the City Pavilion Millennium Suite in London. The show will feature King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and a host of other artists.
