Between NERC and DisCos

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) can’t be saying that customers refused to pay bills for energy consumed when they have refused to play their regulatory functions efficiently. The DisCos are involved in corporate extortion aka estimated billing. The commission is yet to ensure that all households across the 36 States and 774 Local Govt Areas of Nigeria have prepaid meters installed in their houses to stop this continuous fraud by the DisCos. This is making us to believe that the commission is working in cahoots with the DisCos to exploit the poor hapless citizens of this country.
