Market leader in the energy storage, Bluetti has reaffirmed its commitment to drive innovations that would enhance renewable energy in the country.
The organisation in a statement also admonished Nigerians to adopt solar energy as a viable solution to complement domestic and commercial supply.
Referencing a report by Sterling Bank Plc and Stears, Global Marketing Manager at Bluetti, Benjamin Yan maintained that Nigeria has one of the lowest electrification rates in the world, with about 85 million of its citizens not connected to transmission grid.
He identified solar power as a reliable and cost-effective sustainable solution especially in this period to cushion the effects of fuel and electricity tariff burden.
Yan further encouraged Nigerians to invest in the right battery for their solar solution to realise efficient and long-lasting output.
He said this would ensure that businesses and daily activities continue uninterrupted even during a long power outage occurring on rainy season.
“Without an efficient battery, excess solar power is wasted as one don’t have enough power when the sun isn’t shining.
“Storing extra solar energy in batteries will always be available for use later and at any time, reducing dependence on the grid and saving on utility bills. Some batteries even support grid connection and allow user to sell excess energy back to the grid, leaving user to earn money from their solar system”, he enlightened.
He went further to caution users on choice of battery, stating that LiFePO4 kind of batteries were apt for solar solutions and guarantee optimal performance.
“They are safer, stable, and have an impressive lifespan of up to 3,500 cycles, making them a long-term investment for solar system owners.”
He added that Bluetti battery solutions like EP500Pro and AC300 boast features of LiFePO4 that can keep businesses and daily activities going uninterruptedly.
