Dana Air, SAHCO Bag Awards at Chinet AviaCargo Conference

Dana Air and Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) PLC have bagged premium awards at the just ended Chinet AviaCargo Conference held at Marriot Hotel, Lagos.

Dana Air bagged the Nigerian AviaCargo Airline of the Year Award while SAHCO PLC won the Aviacargo Export Handler of the year in Nigeria.

Both awards came at this year’s CHINET AviaCargo Conference, the biggest gathering of Professionals in the Aviation and Cargo sector, bringing together all players in the value chain.

According to the organiser of the AviaCargo conference Ambassador Ikechi Uko, the award for Dana Air was in recognition of the airline’s contribution to the growth of the aviation and cargo industry in Nigeria.

Reacting to the award, the Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Ememobong Ettete said, Dana Air having spent 15 years in the industry would remain a key player and contributor to the aviation, cargo sector in Nigeria and by extension the Nigerian economy.

”We appreciate the organisers for recognising our contribution towards easing the logistics in cargo distribution, and helping to achieve Nigeria’s objective of being a cargo hub,” he said.
