ATBU Secures EU Erasmus Grant for Artificial Intelligence Programme

The European Union (EU) has selected Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University ATBU, Bauchi, for an international grant to run a 36 months master’s degree programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In a statement, ATBU’s spokesperson, Zailani Bappah, said the institution was selected among eight other universities worldwide, with five in Nigeria and three in Europe.
According to the statement, the approval given by the EU Culture Executive Agency was to establish an international MSc programme in embedded AI as part of its vision for human capacity development in higher institutions.
According to the statement, the benefitting institutions include the University of Port Harcourt, the University of Abuja, Obafemi Awolowo University and Michael Okpara University, Umudike.
